Bita is the Founder and CEO of Sampa, a digital platform promoting youth development and entrepreneurship in West Africa. Sampa provides support for youth-led income generating activities and start-ups.
Prior to coming to Sloan she founded Sarafina, a U.S.-based e-commerce platform that sourced ethical fashion from women’s cooperatives in Africa and Asia. Bita started her career in international development implementing public health projects in Cote d’Ivoire, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Michigan. She graduated with an MBA in Enterprise Management from the Sloan School of Management.
