Report Launch: How COVID-19 Unlocked the Adoption of E-Commerce in MENA

The Middle East’s e-commerce sector was already on the rise before the coronavirus pandemic, but the subsequent lockdowns resulted in a boom that has had a wider impact across different sectors of the economy. Our latest research with Wamda Capital studied how the pandemic accelerated the adoption of e-commerce in the region, the impact on small businesses, and the potential of this transformation to drive growth. This panel will discuss the implications of e-commerce growth in the region, what it means for inclusion, and how to sustain the momentum of this sector.
