Building on the roundtable discussion, we are happy to announce our upcoming series of online breakout groups where we invite you all to dive deeper into key themes the group identified during our roundtable discussion. Our goal is for each group to identify a shortlist of action items that they would like to explore in a future in-person workshop that will kickstart initiatives to solve pressing issues in healthcare.
This session will discuss technology and its role in transforming healthcare systems globally. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Anatole Menon-Johansson.
Anatole’s (Sloan & Legatum Fellow, 2020) main interests are to address infection pandemics and use digital tools to solve clinical problems (http://bit.ly/STI-HowtoITpaper). He is an attending physician working in sexual & reproductive health at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust providing a seven day a week service to a local population with the highest HIV prevalence in the UK (www.burrellstreet.co.uk), the clinical director for the young person charity Brook (www.brook.org.uk) that provides education and clinical services across the UK and the founding director of the social enterprise SXT Health CIC (http://sxt.health) that delivers an anonymous partner notification, accurate signposting to healthcare providers and targeted appointments to support access to care.
