Bolaji’s TechPreneur initiative is a business incubator exclusively for technology-related start-ups run by undergraduates, interns and young graduates in Nigeria. TechPreneur adopts start-ups with significant potential and provides infrastructure, legal, marketing, business coaching, mentorship, and project management support services with a goal of creating sustainable world-class businesses. TechPreneur is a scalable model for the West African region.
As a young graduate, Bolaji found it challenging to find meaningful and gainful employment. Bolaji believes that the revenue and employment opportunities that this initiative fosters are capable of making a significant impact in Nigeria. He is dedicated to enabling Nigerian youth to achieve their innate entrepreneurial potential with readily available technology.
A serial entrepreneur, Bolaji has started seven businesses during the last 13 years. The latest is RightClick, an IT consultancy offering e-business solutions to Nigeria’s financial services sector. Bolaji’s entrepreneurial experience includes corporate strategy, technology product development, IT service delivery, IT project management, marketing, sales, customer service, advertising, entertainment and retailing.
Bolaji holds a Bachelor’s in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He is an MBA candidate at the Sloan School of Management and a Sloan Fellow in the Innovation and Global Leadership program.
