Fatima’s venture, Cadi, focuses on creating an online platform that provides primary school teachers access to curated curricula along with lessons plans to help enhance the students learning experience. The platform will also empower teachers by offering performance tracking tools to help bridge learning gaps in the classroom.

Fatima was born in Guinea, a country with one of the lowest youth literacy rates in the world.  Throughout her primary school education, she experienced first-hand the inequalities that exist within the nation’s education sector and had to switch schools multiple times in search of institutions with better curricula. This experience inspired her to start her business venture, Cadi, with the goal of using technology to reduce education disparities beginning gin her native country.

Fatima formerly worked in Operations Management, helping manufacturing plants increase efficiency and managing process optimization projects. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a in Mechanical Engineering from MIT School of Engineering and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management
