Transportation

Nigeria

Chinedu cites his upbringing in a working-class Nigerian family as his inspiration to pursue a path in entrepreneurship. Motivated by his parents’ example and constant desire to solve their challenges through innovation, Chinedu developed a passion for building systems that deliver financial well-being and create economic mobility. His mission is to build businesses and systems that deliver opportunities that will benefit working-class families.

Chinedu believes entrepreneurship can drive change in Africa and he co-founded MAX to transform the mobility sector. His venture, MAX, a mobility platform, delivers low to zero-emissions vehicles to gig transport workers in emerging markets. MAX has designed and co-developed a first-of-its-kind electric motorcycle for emerging markets and provides commuters safe, affordable, and accessible moto-taxi transport. Currently, MAX operates in six cities across Nigeria with plans to expand to new markets. As he leads this expansion, Chinedu is considering the role of government in spurring economic growth and wants to use his experience to influence policy to support small businesses and entrepreneurs.
