Carl’s venture, Impact-G, is building efficient, integrated and sustainable housing facilities with expert technology that is affordable to the ordinary Ghanaian family, and aims to reduce the housing deficit by 25% in 7 years. Carl currently builds hostel facilities and provides subsidized accommodation to underprivileged students. He also supports the development in the community by helping underprivileged women start sustainable businesses with 15% of profits from his housing projects. With millions of hardworking families unable to afford decent housing, Carl’s desire is to ensure that every family is able to afford a home in their lifetime—a vision that was inspired by his difficulties as a child growing up in Ghana. Carl was previously a senior manager for strategic outsourced operations for a Fortune 500 company in the USA with responsibility for 22 states before returning to Ghana to start his venture to meet the housing need.

Carl earned a Bachelor and Master degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has a big heart for the underprivileged and started the nonprofit, CSDMF foundation, and is also the founding member of Broken Crayons and the PAIS project in Ghana. Both are nonprofit organizations which focus on transforming the lives of families in underserved communities. Carl is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
