Adebayo Alonge

Mastercard Foundation 2021 - 2022
Foundry Fellow
From:
Nigeria
Sector:
Heathcare/Pharma
Location:
Nigeria

After experiencing health complications from a fake drug prescription, Adebayo set out to ensure access to high-quality medicines for all Africans. His venture RxAll provides a trusted marketplace where curated sellers use its RxScanner and Rx delivered hard tech and software to certify quality medicines and then sell them to hospitals, pharmacies, and patients. Through the RXAll platform, over 1.5 million patients have access to quality certified medicines each month. Having built and scaled RxAll, Adebayo is now working with the public sector to secure the distribution of medicines, lending his expertise in drug anti-counterfeiting to the team monitoring the distribution of Covax vaccines in Nigeria. He plans to continue to work closely with the public sector to secure the medicine supply chain across Nigeria.

Beyond his role in healthcare, Adebayo wants to nurture the next generation of Nigerian founders and innovators through the creation of digital parks where young people can access training and equipment to develop 21st-century skills in animation, digital marketing, programming, design, and AI. Adebayo believes Africa offers entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to build pioneering solutions with first-mover leapfrogs and real-world social impact.
