Photo Competition

With nearly 700 submissions from more than 50 countries around the world, the Legatum Center's 2009 photo competition brought in an inspiring collection of women's entrepreneurial success stories from around the world.
The competition, titled Women's Entrepreneurship: Empowerment through Innovation, sought photographs of women in low-income countries engaging in entrepreneurial activities and demonstrating innovative uses of technologies.
The Legatum Center Photo Competition was open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world and consisted of 4 tracks: Global, Spotlight - India, Spotlight - Kenya, and Spotlight - Mexico. Winners and honorable mentions, selected by a jury of international development experts, photographers, and women's entrepreneurship experts, are displayed here.
