Rishi is combining his passions for chemistry, tea, socioeconomic development, and Asian culture. He comes from a family of South Indian coffee farmers and has traveled extensively in India, Nepal, and China visiting tea farms. He is grateful for the tea growers who have introduced him to rare teas, and he wishes to share these teas with the Americas.

He was then awarded a Princeton in Asia Fellowship to work for a social enterprise in Cambodia. Most recently, Rishi worked in the venture capital investing sector in Cambodia and was motivated to build an enterprise of his own.
