Praxis Group develops business intelligence (BI) software, analytics, and customized data products for East African firms and organizations. The venture serves small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with dashboards and predictive capabilities to increase operational efficiency. Praxis is expanding by offering consumer-facing products such as car and credit reports to decrease transaction costs for companies and individuals.

After working as a data analytics management consultant in the United States, Antony moved back to his native Kenya to begin his own data analytics venture. He founded Praxis to serve the needs of SMEs in East Africa. By applying the principles he learned in past consulting roles, Antony is giving small firms and consumers access to the insights yielded by proper data collection and analysis, currently the domain of larger companies.

Before beginning his MBA studies, Antony worked for a consulting firm in Chicago using data analytics to advise corporate clients. Previously, he led a test engineering support group through the set up of a wafer fabrication plant for a semiconductor manufacturer. Antony has also co-founded an energy firm that develops 1 -10 megawatt renewable power plants across rural East Africa. He serves as Vice President of the MIT Africa Business Club.

Antony holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from George Mason University. He is an MBA candidate at the Sloan School of Management.
