From:
Mexico
Sector:
Financial Services
Location:
Mexico

MBA, Sloan School of Management

Antonio Osio seeks to create long-term value in Latin American start-ups and small enterprises that pay attention to their social impact as much as their financial returns. His project, Venture Institute, is the first platform in Mexico that combines a business incubator/accelerator program with a seed-capital fund that will invest in innovative Latin American start-ups.

Antonio joins the Legatum Fellowship program with extensive experience in finance, corporate law and economic development. He has worked as a financial analyst in a Mexican-based hedge fund and in a law firm as a consultant to the Public Office of the President. He also has been involved in a variety of grassroots social and political initiatives, including the creation of an investor association to promote regional development and fund entrepreneurial projects in southeast Mexico.

Antonio is currently an MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to joining Sloan, Antonio received degrees in Economics and Law from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
