Ahmed’s venture helps people and organizations overcome location specific challenges for commuting and moving goods within and between urban areas. While working in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Ahmed experienced the challenges of navigating cities throughout the three regions. The applications of this technology extend to customers ranging from local residents navigating their cities to relief organizations transporting goods to remote areas.
As a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Ahmed has demonstrated his commitment to supporting the development of communities around the world. He also co-founded a navigation application that has over 50,000 users.
Before MIT, Ahmed gained professional experience at SAP and Oracle in product management and consulting roles. Ahmed most recently worked as a management consultant intern with McKinsey & Company.
Ahmed completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Bradford. He is pursuing a Master’s in System Design and Management from the School of Engineering and the Sloan School of Management.
