Larissa’s business, mxnMEDIA, is an above-the-line media platform which enables companies of all sizes to get verifiable mass reach without the need for big broadcast television advertising budgets. The company’s primary operation is currently in Mexico, and its mission is to promote growth and employment in the country by enabling small and medium businesses to compete with larger ones by accessing mass target reach like they have not been able to previously. Larissa’s platform also gives customers the added benefit of controlling for bot/click/impression fraud and real-time verification, while providing a positive experience for consumers as well. There is neither invasive data collection in this process nor user-tracking. Having worked previously at the Mexican Central Bank, Larissa is passionate about providing a higher degree of equal opportunity in her home, through mxnMEDIA. She has been working on mxnMEDIA for several years and believes that she will be able to change the business landscape in Mexico and other developing nations in the future, allowing small and medium businesses to become an even more important motor for economic growth. Larissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She is currently pursuing an MBA degree at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
