Jacqueline Novogratz is founder and CEO of the Acumen Fund, a nonprofit global venture fund supporting market-based, entrepreneurial solutions to poverty alleviation in countries ranging from India to Tanzania. Prior to founding the Acumen Fund, Novogratz founded a microfinance institution in Rwanda.  Her book, The Blue Sweater: Bridging the Gap Between Rich and Poor in an Interconnected World, was published in March 2009.
