Legatum Center announces seed grants for MIT students

MIT undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply for up to $2,000 in funding to support projects investigating the development of for-profit businesses in low-income countries during the 2008-2009 IAP session.

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur who is interested in the role of the private sector in the developing world?

Have an idea for a business that you think can make a difference?

Apply now for a seed grant from the Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT and turn these ideas into reality.

 Grants are distributed through a competitive selection process that takes into account the viability and impact of each project proposal. Seed grant applications must be submitted online by 1pm EST on November 21.
