Shoshana Zuboff

Shoshana Zuboff is the Charles Edward Wilson Professor of Business Administration (retired) at the Harvard Business School. She received her undergraduate degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of Chicago, and her Ph.D. in social psychology from Harvard University. She is the author of many articles and two widely acclaimed books, The Support Economy: Why Corporations are Failing Individuals and the Next Episode of Capitalism (with Jim Maxmin) and In the Age of the Smart Machine: The Future of Work and Power. She is the founder of “ODYSSEY: School for the Second Half of Life,” an executive education program aimed at transformation and career renewal at midlife. Shoshana wrote the popular “Evolving” column for Fast Company, and now brings the same future orientation to her column at BusinessWeek Online. She is currently in the process of completing two new books. Throughout her career, Shoshana has traveled the world, delivering lectures, seminars, and consulting advice to numerous renowned companies and universities. She has also served on the editorial boards of the Harvard Business Review, the American Prospect, and Organization.
