"Invention is the core driver of prosperity. [At the Lemelson Foundation] we believe, really, that human ingenuity is not only our most valuable resource, but our most abundant, and that the key is combining that human ingenuity with empathy to create positive change in the world." In a multi-media presentation, Ms. Novy-Hildesley spoke about the Lemelson Foundation and its mission to improve lives through invention, and shared several examples of projects that are creating prosperity in low-income countries.

This lecture took place on Monday, March 1, 2010, at 5 pm in the MIT Stratton Student Center, Twenty Chimneys (W20-306). The lecture was open to the general public free of charge.
